Our goal is to have Jude released and his conviction over-turned. The Chinese Judicial system is so politicized that Jude has no hope of receiving due process. The only chance for winning Jude's release is for you to help.

10 Ways You Can Help Free Jude Shao

Jude's freedom will be won by increasing the pressure on the Chinese Government through repetition. Each time the Chinese Government is asked about Jude's case, the chances of him being released increase. So you can help Jude by taking action and doing something that will let the Chinese Government know that we care about Jude's fate:

1.	Write your Representative and Senators: A letter template and URL to lists of Senators and Representatives is provided below. Ask your Congressperson to write a letter to Chinese officials who can influence Jude's case (names and addresses provided) inquiring about Jude's case. 2.	Follow-up your letters with a phone call: Make sure your elected representatives knows you are serious with a follow-up call.
3.	Write to Other Elected Officials: Write to President Bush about Jude's case. Write to representatives on the Foreign Relations Committee. They are particularly influential with foreign governments.
4.	Write to Political Contacts: Ask your local political contacts for national contacts who can talk to the State Department and / or write the Chinese Ambassador to the U.S.
5.	Media Contacts: Notify any media contacts you have about Jude's case. Send copies of the Case Summary and Case Verification Report and ask them to cover Jude's story. 7.	University Contacts: Ask University contacts that meet with Chinese visitors to inquire about Jude's case. Provide copies of the Case Summary and Case Verification Report (in Chinese) and ask visitors to inquire about Jude's case when they return to China.
8.	Quasi-Government Contacts: Inform quasi-government agencies doing business in China (e.g. The San Francisco - Shanghai Sister City Committee) about Jude's case. Ask them to talk to their Chinese colleagues about Jude's case.
9.	American Chamber of Commerce in China: Ask the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and Shanghai and the American Chinese Chamber of Commerce to lobby for Jude's release. After all, Jude is an American Businessman unjustly imprisoned.
